ClearLedger Privacy Policy
This policy explains what ClearLedger collects, how the service uses processors, how uploaded documents are handled, and how retention works with the current implementation.
1. Information we collect
ClearLedger stores account details, business profiles, uploaded files, extracted structured data, generated invoices, billing records, report history, and support or contact submissions needed to operate the service.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to authenticate access, associate records with the correct business, process uploads, generate analytics and reports, manage subscriptions, deliver account communications, and respond to support requests.
3. AI processing disclosure
When AI-assisted extraction or narrative generation is enabled, relevant document content or aggregate finance context may be sent to OpenAI with training opt-out settings enabled where supported. You should review extracted and generated output before relying on it.
4. Storage and retention
Original files are stored in Supabase Storage. Retention dates, warning notices, and deletion behavior are plan-aware. Structured data may remain longer than the original file so historical analytics and reports stay coherent.
5. Service providers and sharing
ClearLedger uses service providers such as Clerk, Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, Redis, and email delivery providers to operate the product. Information is shared with those providers only as needed to deliver the requested features.
6. Access, correction, and deletion requests
If you need access, correction, or deletion assistance, contact ClearLedger support. Requests are handled subject to billing obligations, retention settings, security requirements, and applicable law.
